does anyone else find themselves scrapping all their drawings and scolding themselves for not being original? Im back on deviantart and despite there being good artists so few have an authenticity to their style. I hate that anything I now draw I subconsciously compare to anything similiar. Writers seem to have alot less trouble (for me atleast) because while you have to be constructive about the story, the designs for everything is solely left up to the reader. books seem to provide alot more inspiration than comics because alot of the characters, things and places are up for interpretation.
